Addilynn's helmet

Addilynn has plagecephaly. We have been fighting with Medicaid to cover a helmet but they said it was not medically necessary. She is in physical therapy twice a week because of a tilt in her body. The way her head is shaped is causing her to constantly tilt her head and without the helmet to correct she will be in physical therapy for the rest of her life and may develop scoliosis. The tilt is down to her hips which makes her entire body stay tilted to that side. She is now 10 months old and has until she is 1 before her soft spot closes and she can no longer get the helmet to fix it. The helmet it's self is $3,000 not including her getting measured and follow up appointments plus gas each week to drive 2 hours away for her appointments. We were told Medicaid would cover it so we didn't start saving money and now we are out of time. I am asking for help because I don't know what else to do now. Thank you everyone in advance!
