Adam's Insulin Cost

My insulin that the Doctors want me to be on is called Fiasp, I can’t afford because it runs around $600 a month after insurance. My endocrinologist called today and is able to get me help with about $100 a month after my insurance which still leaves around $500. I have the paperwork started asking for help through the manufacturer of this new insulin, which they said the whole process will take at least 6 weeks. I am trying to function with blood sugars running into dangerous high levels. I have 3 children and a wife to care for as well as my own medical bills. Well as if the diabetes hasn’t been kicking me in the butt for weeks already. I woke up today with blisters all inside my mouth and throat and on my lips. I Had to go to immediate care because they are so painful and I have thrush all the way down my throat. She said because my body has been through so much lately my immune system is over stimulated and can’t keep up. So, not sure where it’s going from here so I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can give. My need is urgent and immediate as this new insulin the Doctors believe will lower my blood sugars as I am becoming insulin resistant to all the other ones I have taken in the past. God Bless.
