UPDATE 2/10/18: State License arrived still need $250 for 501c3
UPDATE 3/28/18: Alot has happend this last month. Ellie Mae had her surgery on her broken hip and has now been adopted by her foster family (Still need $105 towards her surgery)! Buddy a pup that came to us mid Feb started throwing up and xrays showed some sort of blockage...went for surgery immediatley. Turns out he had a really big ulcer in his stomach. It was removed and he was put on meds. 2 days later he had to go back into surgery due to him being allergic to his sutures. Buddy is hopefully on the med and has a wonderful foster family! His bill alone was ($711)
I have a small in home rescue that i have recently restarted. Everything I do comes out of pocket and as most of you know I personally hate asking for anything. Right now I am asking for your help to help our local dogs and cats.
The last few years I have not been able to run my own rescue (Paw Prints Ranch) but had decided to help another local rescue. I teamed up with them for my horse rescue and helped run the dog rescue. I decided to step away from that and reopen my own rescue again In January 2018.
I keep getting asked to help more and more dogs. I can only take in and help 24 dogs without having a license.
I will get my license and apply for my 501c3 as it takes too long to be approved to do it first. The license is 250 (license applied for) and the 501c3 is 275. I will then apply for my 501c3 so I can become an official non profit rescue/shelter. (I have my license now the number is 469226)
We will be posting a monthly goal amount we need to raise that is over and above what we have made to cover our costs. If we ever raise more these funds will be put into an account that will be used for low income families or folks needing help getting their pets fixed and/or vetted, emergancey pet food needs etc.
