Amputation E(purr)gency !

Hello !! My name is Dog, yes I am a 2 year old cat named Dog, and I need help. I was recently hit by a car near my own home and was found by my mommy. But I managed to survive because I am one tough kitty. Although, not tough enough to walk quite yet. I broke one of my hind legs and caused my leg to shorten up, now the only option is amputation or I will have to be put down. The problem is, my owner Sophie is a 16 year old girl that has to pay for my surgery all on her own. She helps me go to the bathroom, stays up with me almost all night, and I am even getting spoon fed! She loves me very much but cannot afford these costly expenses on her own and hates to see me suffer. The vet is asking anywhere from $800 up to $2000 from Sophie for my surgery. I just want my mommy and I to live a long life together and could really use the help!
