Bo's Recovery Fund

One of the most loving and loyal dogs I have ever had the pleasure of knowing was shot twice this morning with buckshot and is currently in the hospital. He belongs to one of my best friends, who has loved and cared for this dog since he was just a pup. Last night, my friend's brother let Bo (a very good, but curious boy) out to pee, but forgot to let him back in. When my friend returned from work, Bo had gone missing. They looked for him until about 3am, but had no luck. When my friend got up for work this morning, he found his dog bleeding out on his front porch. He immediately rushed Bo off to the hospital. He seems to be stable, but he has pellets from the buckshot scattered from his face to his tail, and could likely lose his eyesight. Bo has a long road ahead of him full of medication and surgery if he is to recover from this, and while I know my friend is willing to spend every dime he has to see to it that Bo is taken care of, I know he won't have the money to take care of himself as well. All I want, is to make sure my friend has the means to keep his best friend alive without sacrificing his car, house, etc...
