Accessibility Improvements

Bullington Gardens is a public botanical garden on 12 acres of rolling land providing hands-on education in horticulture and other sciences to students, youth clubs and adults. 

Bullington Garden's mission is to connect children and adults with the natural world through science-based horticultural education; to demonstrate the beauty and value of native and ornamental plants through themed public gardens; and to enhance life skills for children and adults with physical or mental challenges through horticultural therapy.

Bullington Gardens is committed to providing public access to our gardens. We offer classes, workshops and horticultural therapy and education for children and adults. Many of our students face enormous challenges. One challenge in particular, has made it difficult for them to partake of our therapy programs; wheelchair access to our Therapy Garden. Bullington Gardens has been working diligently to update our facilities to allow access to all students by installing a brick pathway to the classroom, but we need your help to finish our project!

Brick pavers are needed throughout the property to ensure students with disabilities can access all of the therapy programs we offer. The cost for these pavers including installation is upwards of $30,000. This is an immediate need so all of our students and adults can take part in the beneficial horticultural therapy we offer.
