Bring ACC to Charlottesville Pride

Atheist Community of Charlottesville would like to support the Charlottesville Pride Festival on September 15th!
If you have been to Charlottesville Pride before, you probably saw the numerous religious organizations that have booths at Pride. Our goal is to have 2 booths right in the middle of all of the religious groups to show that there is acceptance and support for LGBTQ individuals and families among the atheist, humanist, freethinker and secular community.
This will be a joint effort staffed by members of our local Atheist Community of Charlottesville, a Chapter of WASH, as well as Virginia representatives of American Atheists, Black Nonbelievers, and Hispanic American Freethinkers (HAFree).
Attendance at last year's Pride event was well over 4,000 people! Let's make this event a big success by increasing the visibility of our growing group and for normalizing atheism and secular humanism!
If we hit our fundraising goal we are hoping to bring in the amazing Mandisa Thomas, President and founder of Black Nonbelievers, to join us from Atlanta to be at Pride and to speak to ACC!
But....
In order to have the event that we are envisioning, we need to raise money! Our fundraising goal is to cover expenses related to booth fees, travel expenses, costs for table materials, signs or banners, water bottles, etc.
Stretch Goals: Sponsorship!
$250 sponsorship - we would have our name on the t-shirts.
$500 sponsorship - would get us names on shirts half off the registration fee for one booth.
A $750 sponsorship would get us a small logo on the shirts.
