Dear families, friends, fans, fellow aca-people, and strangers;
HELP US ADVANCE! Our preparation for the annual ICCA competition this year has been anything but smooth, as can be seen on Pop's new reality docu-series "Sing It On". One of our biggest struggles was not being able to rehearse with individual microphones. Water bottles, hairbrushes, pencils, and other objects were used in place, but rehearsing on a sound system is immeasurably beneficial. Competing against groups who own individual microphones is a disadvantage we must overcome if we ever hope to advance to ICCA Finals again. With your help, we know we can make this dream a reality. This project is by no means cheap and being a completely student run organization means we get no financial help from the university. Please help NoCo and the University of Illinois a cappella community by donating to this GoFundMe page so we can work our groups to their full potential!
ALBUM CONTEST: Here's a fun twist... Since ICCA is a competition, we are going to make this a competition as well! The top ten contributors will receive a limited edition signed CD of our new ICCA 2015 studio album that is coming out this summer (featuring the 5 competition songs as seen on "Sing It On"). Every week when an episode airs (Wednesdays @ 9/8c), we will announce who is in the top ten to rattle up the competition. We will close the contest on Wednesday, July 1st, 2015 at 11:59 PM (FINALE of "Sing It On")!
