Help the "least of these"

Tax deductible
Abundant Life in Christ  Church serves the "least of these". The people in our community who are the outcast from our society. Those dealing with debilitating mental health issues, addictions, or just going through the trials and tribulations of life.  As a church called by God to serve these souls, Abundant Life provides a wide variety of services to those in need.  Anyone may come to the Church between 7am and 1pm, Monday through Friday. They are greeted with coffee and breakfast. At 8am we have a reading and discussion  of the "Our Daily Bread" devotion. From 9am to 10am we have fellowship followed by a Bible study at 10am. From 11am to 12pm we share a time of worship and we are blessed by different Pastors from our community that come in to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  At noon everyone is invited to have lunch with us. On Sunday we have a Bible study at 10am and our main church service at 11am. A meal is served following the service. The church also houses 8 individuals that are ministry minded and they are given the opportunity to cultivate their relationships with our Lord. This discipleship program is designed to get the individual active in service to the community as well as the Church. These individuals are required to pay a discounted rent that is subsidize with working 2 days a week in the Church and required attendance to Sunday service as well as the Thursday night service. The church also offers an opportunity for individuals to come in and do their laundry, get showers and have access to our food pantry and clothing pantry.
Pastor Charles Ahrens works tirelessly, and often sacrifices is own free time, personal ambitions and money to go above and beyond to help those that seek it and are in desperate need.
The church has the potential to house 40 other individuals for emergency shelter and transitional shelter housing for those completing a treatment program and are in need of a housing option that will support their new found sobriety. Too many times we have individuals who leave a treatment program but the only housing option they have is to return to the environment that they came from, and that is usually not an option that supports their recovery. The church would also like to give individuals an option to become a part of our Men's ministry program.
The needs we have are.....
1) Installing a fire sprinkler system to get our available space up to code and be able to house more individuals.
2) The church suffered some damage to our plumbing system with the sub zero temperatures and they are in need of repair.
3) Our available space needs to be renovated in order to provide a comfortable living space.
4) We are always in need of food items, clothing, toiletries, personal hygiene items.
5) We are always looking for fellow Christians to come and share the word of God throughout the week in our morning service. There are certain requirements that need to be met. Please contact Pastor Charles if you are interested.
6) We appreciate your prayers and support.

Brothers and sisters we are The Church, the hands and feet of God Almighty. Given a Great Commission to spread the Word of God and the good news of Jesus Christ. Please consider partnering with us to serve our community in the name of Jesus. Let's let the light of His Love shine and expel the darkness in this world. May we be the hands and feet that will attract the nations to Him who created us.

Acts 4:32-35

They Had Everything in Common

32 Now the full number of those who believed were of k one heart and l soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but m they had everything in common. 33 And with great n power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and o great grace was upon them all. 34 p There was not a needy person among them, for q as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold 35 and r laid it at the apostles' feet, and s it was distributed to each as any had need.
