Abandoned Chihuahua Needs Help

We found an elderly chihuahua, just(4.5 lbs )abandoned on the side of a busy road early morning on April 24. We pulled over quickly and grab him before he was hit by a car. We took him to the vet where we were told he has no chip,he has limited vision due to cateracts and deformities in his front paws which cause him to wobble and sometimes fall over when he walks. The vet thinks he is between 10-14 years. He was never fixed,his ears were filled with dirt, nails overgrown,and very bad teeth which may need to be removed once we get him looked at further. The vets advice to us before further testing was to call local shelters,delaware aspca,and several online sources for lost animals to see if his owners were looking for him. No one has come forward to claim this sweet boy, so we are looking to raise money to give him all the medical attention he needs. We will update with videos and photos of his status once we get further results. Please keep this precious baby in your thoughts. We are doing everything we can to make him comfortable. He is already so loved ❤
