HURRICANE MICHAEL 2018 ——— PILOTS OF AMERICAN AIRLINES ARE PARTNERING TO SUPPORT AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE BY NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CROSSROADS ALLIANCE.
The pilots of American Airlines are stepping up to help deliver positive impact to victims with life essentials like water, food, and medical supplies.
Why American Airlines pilots?
Good American Jobs are essential to funding the recovery of any devastated community. —American Airlines pilots, represented by The Allied Pilots Association, have a responsibility to act
Why Crossroads Alliance?
Though Crossroads Alliance each $20 contributed equates to $160 WORTH OF RELIEF AID.
Crossroads Alliance is actively on the ground delivering disaster relief supplies (food, water, hygiene kits, etc) in affected areas including Mexico Beach and Port Saint Joe. The Crossroads Alliance command center is established at the Panama City Airport (PFN) to disperse tens of thousands of pounds of goods. Donations made to Crossroads Alliance will directly help those in distress. All contributions help the costs of transport and distribution of goods to victims. Thanks to Crossroads Alliance partners, Crossroads Alliance can ship and distribute eight times the amount of aid for the value. For a donation of $20, we can distribute about $160 worth of supplies. Crossroads Alliamce is targeting another goal of $125,000 to allocate $1,000,000 value of aid relief.
Immediate Relief
Crossroads Alliance was first on the ground in Port Saint Joe and stands ready to provide immediate relief to victims of disaster by providing hope and necessary supplies. The CAM team responds to natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, as well as to human-made disasters.
Logistical Supply
Crossroads Alliance facilitates logistical supply lines in the United States and globally by shipping items such as food, food supplements, medicines, medical equipment, school supplies, and other needed items – with particular attention focused on children.
