AALBORG, DK ENGINEERING STUDIES

Marc - Anthony Colon and Tione Grant , two undergraduate sophomores enrolled in the University of the Virgin Islands'  Applied Mathematics/ Engineering dual- degree program, have been accepted to take part in a six month student exchange program at Aalborg University in Esbjerg ,Denmark ; focusing on courses in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. They are trying to cover the accommodation deposit and travel expenses.

The students will be taking part in  Aalborg's Project Oriented Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, where they would conduct a semester project while  covering courses such as: 
-Methods in Quantitative Chemical Analysis
 -Inorganic and Organic Chemistry
-Applied Statistics

To highlight some of their major accomplishments, they are both 
* Emerging Caribbean Scientists (ECS) Scholars
* National Society of Black Engineers executive members ( Senator and President respectively)
*Golden Key International Honour Society Members
* Dean's List Recipients
