Losing Both Parents - Ava's Story

For Ava, the value of those memories is immeasurable. In her 6 short years of life, Ava has had to endure a loss that is hard to fathom, a loss that is forever... a loss of not one parent, but both parents. This campaign is to help brighten the future for Ava, and give her a chance at the life her parents dreamed for her.
In 2011, before her 1st birthday, Ava's mother Amber tragically passed away. Ava's father Frank, a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps, was now suddenly a single parent. Frank always made sure to keep Amber's spirit alive in Ava's memory.
In the years following Amber's passing, Frank worked to provide Ava with the best life possible. Ava was the priority, and her happiness was Frank's new mission.
Ava started Kindergarten in 2016 and was flourishing!! Every morning she was ready early, backpack on and lunch box in hand, eagerly waiting for the bus. She loved her school, loved her new friends, and loved learning in general.
Unfortunately, tragedy would befall Ava's life again. Her father Frank unexpectedly passed away early November 2016. The holidays were extremely rough. A child's fondest memories are usually Christmas time, but all Ava wanted from Santa was to bring her Daddy back.
Ava is now in the care of her grandmother, Frank's mother, affectionately referred to as "Mona." Mona is not only trying to cope with the death of her son, but also trying to raise Ava in the way that Frank and Amber wanted.
You should never underestimate the difference you make in every life you touch... for the impact you make today has a powerful rippling effect on every tomorrow. Please help to give Ava that brighter tomorrow!
