Rachel's Recovery Fund

As some of you may know, on Sunday, July 7, Rachel was involved in a terrible accident. This happened in Austin, TX, while attending the 2019 RTX Convention . While riding an eletric scooter back to her Airbnb, she fell, severely hitting her head on the concrete beneath her. Thankfully her amazing boyfriend, Kyle, was with her to call 911 and wait until an ambulance arrived.

She was eventually moved to Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas. There it was discovered her skull was severely fractured in two spots, allowing for swelling and bleeding. After experiencing a seizure, a breathing tube was placed to help minimize the work on her brain. Rachel was eventually transferred to the ICU.

Since July 7, Rachel has made amazing progress. The breathing tube has been removed, and she's beginning to hold small conversations with those around her. She can move her arms and legs with little trouble.

However, the road ahead remains unclear. The full extent of her injuries and the impact they'll have on her in the weeks and months to come are unknown.

Moreover, because Rachel is a contract employee, she does not receive time-off benefits. Thankfully she is still on her mother's health insurance, but that will only cover a small amount of the ever-increasing medical bill mountain.

Kyle has returned home to work and help make money to pay their bills while Kate and Anna, Rachel's sister and mother respectively, stay behind.

But now we are asking for your help.

Anyone who knows Rachel has experienced her kindness and warmth. She is an amazing human being, and this accident has been tough on everyone. If you're able, please considering making a small gift to help relieve the immense stress facing Rachel, Kyle, and their families.

Whether it's $1 or $100, every penny matters.

Thank you so very much.
