Dolly's Surgery Fund

Dolly is my  14 month old foster dog through PittieLove Rescue. PLR took possession of Dolly in August 2016 through the ASPCA Police who had ordered her surrender from a life threatenting situation.  Dolly came to me at only 5 months old with severe injuries consistant with abuse. Dolly's most prominent injuries were a Salter Harris type fracture of her right humerus and a traumatic injury to her left front carpus. These injuries were not treated and healed incorrectly causing deformities.  Along with these injuries, it was discovered through xrays that Dolly had been shot with a pellet gun and had a fracture of her left humerus as well. The previous owner also cut her ears and cut a pellet out of Dolly's right forearm, cutting too deep and sutured her up without any  anesthesia. The fracture on her right front leg was through the growth plate causing a joint deformity. These injuries caused Dolly to grow abnormally resulting devastating orthopedic issues in both of her hind legs. Dolly is now in desperate need of bilateral TPLO Surgery. This surgery will give Dolly strength and stability  in her hind legs, allowing her better mobility and freedom of movement far beyond the stiff legged, painful movement she has now.
Currently, Dolly is on restricted activities, joint supplements and daily anti-inflammatory medication.  She has difficulty with stairs and downhill motion. Too much activity causes her pain that makes her shake. Despite this,  Dolly is a resilliant little girl who loves all dogs and people. She is happy and playful and and affectionate. She deserves to live a long, happy, healthy and pain free life. PLEASE help Dolly by donating.
