Volunteering in Nicaragua

I have just found out that I've been accepted onto Latin Link's 'Stride' programme starting from September 2017. I will be living and working in Nicaragua in Central America from September until June, volunteering for a soon to be confirmed project which concentrates on helping 'women at risk'. This could involve spending time with women who are in the process of getting out of prostitution or young pregnant girls who have been disowned by their families and getting involved with and serving the local church.  
Latin Link is a Christian mission agency with a passion for mission in and from Latin America. 
I will be needing to raise around £6000 to cover the costs of accommodation, living expenses, insurance, training week-ends and an up-front cost that I must pay to Latin Link. I have until the end of August to raise these funds.
