Masse Family Recovery
Here is a message from Lisa:
People have been asking what we need for the new house. I registered at Bed Bath & Beyond with some basics we really need. Hope this helps answer some questions. Right now, there is a 20% off one items special going at check out. I believe there is also free shipping on orders more than $40? Thanks for all your support. We really do appreciate it. This has been an extremely difficult time for all of us mentally, emotionally and physically. I'm glad I have such great friends and a terrific support network thru you all.
The journey continues...
"I just want to say thank you personally for all the donations and well wishes. We are still homeless and having difficulty finding a place to live. We purchased a used Tahoe using the money donated thru the GOFUNDME site. We picked it up last Monday. Unfortunately, on Thurs while stopped at a red light, a woman who was texting and driving struck us from behind at 48 mph and pushed us into the middle of the intersection, wedging herself underneath our Tahoe and lifting the bad end off the ground. Best part was, she is uninsured! So now our insurance company is paying for the $3900+ in repairs and our insurance is going to go up. Hopefully this is the end of bad things happening to our family and things will start to turn around."
Hi All, I just wanted to let you all know that we have moved into another rental in Manchester, NH. The boys are having a pretty hard time adjusting to the area and are extremely nervous about starting over in another new school system. We were able to purchase beds, a couch and loveseat and televisions with the donations here. It was also used for a rental deposit/security deposit for our new home. It is amazing how expensive it is to have to start over when you have absolutely nothing. I have created a housewarming registry at Bed Bath & Beyond. https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/giftregistry/view_registry_owner.jsp?eventType=Housewarming®istryId=541438872 Thank you all for supporting us and helping us through this extremely difficult time. Hopefully, our new house will start feeling like a home soon.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support. AJ had a great birthday thanks to all of you and your generosity. We are still homeless and hoping to find a place in the same school district. Please continue to share as we are having a very difficult time with our insurance agency and their lack of willingness to provide us the financial aid we need. Again, thank you so much for the well wishes and generosity.
Do they still need dog supplies? Bowls, leash, collar, toys? Is it a big dog? I have a German shepherd who has plenty to share.
Keep the good deeds comming for this family.
I just want to thank Melissa for setting this up, and all the generous people that have been contributing to helping my brother's family get back on their feet. The outpouring of support and love on this page is a beautiful thing to see.
