Hey guys!
A few months ago, in September of 2018, my life drastically changed forever. I was driving down highway 55 towards Boise late one evening, when I fell asleep at the wheel. When I became concious I realized I was off the road and I tried to swerve back into the lane. All of a sudden the car flipped and scraped across the gravel next to the road for what seemed like eternity. When the car finally stopped moving I noticed my arm was hanging out the window during the crash, and was stuck in between the road and the mangled metal. After getting out of the accident I was life flighted to Boise, where my injuries were too severe to be treated there and had to be life flighted again to Salt Lake City, where the University of Utah houses a level one trama center. I was in the hospital for about a month, and had to get a portion of my left arm amputated below the elbow as a result of the injury. Now that I'm fully healed, I'm looking to raise money in hopes of getting a prosthetic to help me do everyday tasks like driving or riding a bike or grabbing objects and lifting them. I'm excited for the future, and I'm blessed to have all the support from my family and close friends. Thank you for taking a moment to read :)
