New Vehicle Campaign

Artists for the Humanities (A4TH), is a Wisconsin-based non-profit organization dedicated to the use of expressive art as a tool for healing. Artists for the Humanities currently operates two programs in Wisconsin: Art as a Tool for Healing (ATFH), as well as The Return and Recovery Program for Military Veterans (RRPMV). Both programs are cost-free and offered thanks to the generous donations from our supporters who continue funding our programs, and ask that you, please contribute to strengthening the lives of our service members, and community members in need of mental health support through our programs.

Through the RRPMV we have served nearly 3,600 military veterans with our expressive art program suffering from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), substance abuse, and homelessness and other mental health conditions since we began the program in 2009. With our program, Art as a Toll for Healing, we have served over 100 community members in the early phase of our new effort.

Currently, Executive Director and program facilitator, Tim Mayer, travels throughout Wisconsin to our program sites in a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country minivan which has over 221,500 miles. A4TH is desperately in need of a new/used vehicle as transportation to and from our locations is essential to continuing our work. We currently have a matching offer of $10,000 from a local auto dealership and several supporters. We are seeking your generous assistance to help realize our goal of purchasing a new/used minivan to continue our mission.
