Saving Megan

A little over week ago my baby Megan collapsed and fainted right in front of me. l was scared and took her to the vet. I kinda expected them to say that she was dyhyrated and that was all but it was discovered that she had hemoglobin anemia was at 18 percent functioning red blood cells. They put her on a steroid and every 48 hours she has been taken to the vet for a blood panel. This past friday she was at a critical 10 percent.  The vet said they couldn't figure out why it was dropping so rapidly and suggested that she be taken to a internal specialist an hour and a half away immediately. Needless to say she was taken at 1am in the morning and I left her there for a blood transfusion. Internalists have been baffled and have taken tissue for testing and put a camera in her for her to pass in her stool because the ultrasound and xrays didnt show internal bleeding. Meanwhile we have no answers and the bills keep adding up. Megan might need another blood transfusion and time to figure out why her body wont make red blood cells and she is killing the ones she has. I'm asking all my friends and family to donate anything to help keep mommas baby alive. Please. Big hugs for everyone.
