Newark High School Music Programs

My name is Scot Tims and I am trying to raise funds for our local public high school music program.  A referendum to raise taxes for school improvements was not passed last spring.  Although it didn't stop the high school music programs from existing, it did put a limit on improvements and items needed for practices and performances.  We're trying to raise enough money to help fix broken equipment, tune pianos, pay for accompanyment, performance music, instruments for needy students and many more items that will enhance the students' experience in their high school music programs.  The fact that the referendum didn't pass, leaves the school with major budget cuts.  This fundraising will uplift the students in their music programs enabling them to have the tools to make them great.  The kids and music directors make the most of what they've got, but it is sad to see that they have to deal with limited and out-dated equipment.  Please see what you can do to help the kids make the most out of their high school music experience.  THANK YOU!
