Steven Battle Against brain Cancer

Hello, my name is Steven Wanyoike Njogu . I am a 22 years old male from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Last year in October 2014, I was diagnosed with glioblastoma which is a form of brain cancer. My cancer is on the brain stem, therefore, making it very risky to perform any surgery.

 I have located a doctor in Houston Texas ( Dr Burzynski ). His clinic uses a personalized cancer therapy by understanding of each patient’s genetic make-up to unravel the biology of their cancer.  He identifies effective treatment strategies using targeted therapies that are aimed at specific genes or proteins that are found only in cancer cells or their environment. This is an alternative treatment from chemotherapy which only promises the patient a lifespan of 9 months to 3 years .I’m very optimistic that this cancer can be treated and eliminated with the alternative therapy. My body is getting weaker every day with occasional seizures.  I’m planning to get this treatment before the end of August 2015.

 I am kindly asking for any financial assistance that you are able to give because my insurance will only cover 70% which is out of network coverage. Therefore I have to pay out of pocket about $20,000 which covers the lab test that is required before the therapy is administered. With your help we can defeat this cancer.
