Cancer Sucks

I am fundraising for my step-father who was misdiagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma Cancer in May 2017. He is currently receiving his second round of treatment for immune therapy every 3 weeks  on Oahu, but resides on a different island (Big Island of Hawaii). The travel expenses just to fly to another island and renting a vehicle is taking its toll on their finances and are in need of some help! His doctors are trying their best to help him! Recently, he  found out he now needs to fly to Oahu to inject the tumor on his neck every 2 weeks to hopefully shrink this mass that is intertwined with his arteries. Surgery to remove this tumor is not an option at this moment, which could leave his face paralyzed. That’s at least 3 trips per month!

They have already exhausted their help from the American Cancer Society of travel expenses for his first round of treatment. His body began rejecting the medicine and needed to fly to Texas for a booster shot. During this waiting period, the mass on his neck grew 4 times the size. Their medical coverage from Medicare and Tricare doesn’t cover travel expenses for his treatment on another island. He has also undergone three Gamma Knife procedures to remove six tumors in his brain.

My dad is a great man and has always been there for me and my family. This is the least I can try to do to help! Please donate what you can and hopefully our family can say "He survived Cancer" one day... CANCER SUCKS!!!
