A Way Out is a non-profit organization dedicated to EDUCATING the public on the signs and symptoms of Child Sexual Abuse.
Our goal is that this education will allow you to SPOT THE WARNING SIGNS of sexual abuse and human trafficking.
Our hope is to give you the tools and confidence to RESPOND and REPORT appropriatelyA Way Out offers two training programs:
The Stewards Of Children Program - This facilitator led class teaches how to prevent, recognize, and respond responsibly to child sexual abuse. **This class qualifies for Two(2) contact hours of Continuing Education through The National Assocation of Social Workers
Human Trafficking Program - This program is led by a Licensed Professional Counselor. In this course, you will learn about victim profiling, at risk populations, recruitment, grooming of victims by traffickers and the effects of trauma.
**This class qualifies for the State of Michigan Human Trafficking Educational Requirement.
