A Viking's Christmas

For the last 14 months, sweet little Odin has been battling  Hepatoblastoma. He has been using every bit of strength he has and has truly been a courageous little Viking. In the past few weeks, this wonderful family and beautiful little boy have had many, many trials and tribulations... Odin has hurdled over every single one of them. In the past few days, many prayers had been answered and it seemed as though Odin was about to jump one more gigantic hurdle... he was on his way to being cancer free. Unfortunately, yesterday morning, his Mommy and Daddy received the most devastating news they could have gotten. A tumor was found in Odin's brain the size of a baseball. The tumor has started to bleed and the Doctors have now given him anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Odin's Mommy and Daddy have decided to allow him to  live his last days here on Earth, to the absolute fullest. They will be Celebrating Christmas this weekend! Laura's mother and father have uprooted their lives in order to be closer to Mark, Laura, Gunnar and Odin. Currently, they are all living under one roof to make things a little easier on everybody. Sadly, this past Sunday, Mark's father passed away. Mark was able to fly to see his father before his passing but rushed right back home to his family, where he knew he needed to be. This family is family is so loving and literally have hearts of pure gold... The donations we receive will go towards food, holiday decorations and gifts for the family! Any donations we receive after our goal is met will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Greenville, NC, as well at the non profit at their hospital called Riley's Army.
