A Loving New Mom With Cancer

Donation protected
Thank you for taking the time to read this story.  It is truly appreciated.

As some of you know, Jennifer was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Her2 Negative Breast Cancer. This cancer is not only in her breast, but in her liver and spine as well, making it extremely difficult to walk or do normal day to day things. This came, of course, as a complete shock to everyone, especially Jen, who had just given birth a few months prior to a beautiful baby girl named Tessa.  After going through an already stressful pregnancy and coming out on the other side, this was last thing anyone expected.

In true Jennifer fashion, she was strong and graceful in hearing this news and asked all the right questions and took the time for a second opinion as the first opinion was not something anyone is prepared to hear...."You only have 2-3 years to live most likely."  Any of us who know Jennifer and heard this news was just shocked....I know I was.  I hung up the phone with my friend just to fall to my knees immediately and cry....sobbing actually....followed by praying.  Alot of praying has gone on since from everyone who is around her and supporting her to get through this one day at a time.

Luckily, she has found a great and compassionate doctor who has thoroughly  taken the time to answer all of her questions, give her guidance and most importantly HOPE.  There is always hope.  Without it, there is nothing.

Jen has already endured his first chemotherapy treatment and like a true  survivor she made it through.  Then of course it was followed with an awful sickness for days after.  Her family and friends have rallied around her for support and those of us who aren't close by, try and keep her spirits up by talking over the phone.

She is a great mom to her son, Jacob, who is 19 and now Tessa who is 5 1/2 months.

To know Jen is to love her.  Her sweet and down to earth personality is one to always put others at ease and she is always there for anyone else who needs it....that is who she is and it's been very disheartening for her to not be able to do her normal daily activities, play with her daughter, or just simply do normal everyday things that most of us take for granted.   Due to the amount of pain this cancer has caused, it's frustrating for her to depend on others....but as I keep reminding her....she needs to accept the help from her family and friends and focus on her health and healing.  God will take care of the rest.

Because of this illness, there will be the stress of medical bills and daily expenses that need to be taken into account especially for her baby.

But, I'd like to change all of that for her.  Please help Jennifer by either donating to her gofundme account or you may visit her inspirational page on Facebook (Jennifer's Daily Inspiration) for information on giving items or just simply support.

This family and Jennifer  deserves to live a full and happy life. Please, please donate anything that you can as it will be deeply appreciated and loved by her.

WE LOVE YOU JENNIFER!!!   #FUCKCANCER
