A Soldier's Dream - Act Now!

My name is Chris Leidlein. I am a retired disabled soldier from the U.S. Army.  I am a film maker, entrepreneur, and story teller.  I love telling stories, so let's start with the one closest to my heart. I grew up in Michigan.  At a young age I joined the Army and put my life on hold for  service to my country.  I loved it.  For twenty years I trained for and fought this great nation's wars.  I enjoyed being in combat arms, a brotherhood.  On my third deployment to combat, I was under heavy fire.  I had my back to the wall as the bullets whizzed past my ears.  I thought about everything my brothers had given up in service of their country. I thought that if I made it out that I would live better, not only for myself but for those who didn't make it back. I did make it back. A highly decorated soldier with two bronze stars and a chest full of medals, I swore to keep that promise.  I retired and finished my Bachelors degree in business.  I knew I had more to do.  I went out and while working full time finished my Masters in visual effects and animation.  I founded my own film production company and am in the process of bringing several projects to screen. 


So you ask yourself, why would anyone with two degrees not just go to California or New York? I see a great opportunity here in Michigan.  This state is my home and full of talent.  We have Francis Ford Coppola , Jeff Daniels, and Sam Rami to name a few.  We also have every type of scenery available including deserts and mountains.  What we need is a budding industry and I aim to change that.  I look forward to the opportunity to build it.  I know it's a big dream but everyone started somewhere.  


While I am rich in spirit and determination, like most companies I am not rich in capital.  I am seeking seed money to fund this company. It's my dream to make films that tell great stories. At Vision Light Pictures, my company, our goal is to take people away from their daily grind for an hour or two. We want to give people a moment of rest from the pressures they are facing.  VLP has a strong production team  that is busy creating shows for your entertainment. At Vision Light Pictures, we have have no strong political messages, we just want people to have fun. 


The donations will be used to fund day to day operations, including but not limited to, LLC requirements, legal fees, equipment, and development costs.  These are the building blocks of any great company.  I will execute my fiduciary responsibility to safeguard every dime donated and build something epic.  It's not a matter of if but when we will make it. We have the talent. We have the detemination.  We are  looking for an opportunity to make this soldiers dream come true. 



If a dime is what you can spare then I am extremely greatful.  I will grow that dime, so in ten years you can say I was there, I helped build that.  If you can spare more than that, thank you, eveything helps.  I look forward to seeing you on the screen soon.
