A Roof for our American Veterans in Rockledge FL

All the members of American Veterans Post 893 and many other Veterans will benefit through this fundraiser. Our Post provides meals to veterans on a daily basis, holds monthly cloths drives, sponsors local community school sports programs, provides donations to the Vietnam Moving wall, assists with the housing of homeless veterans, and provides a local gathering for veterans to gather and work.
Our Veterans Post is over 30 years old and each year becomes harder to maintain and keep up to standards. Because we are a small post we work with a very small budget to make it through each year. Almost all work to repair the building is accomplished through self help with our veterans. Our roof has become unsustainable and is leaking in several locations causing considerable damage to the inside walls and flooring. Almost all of the repairs accomplished on our building are self help using our own veterans but we need to have a licensed roofing contractor to replace our roof as it is beyond our capability. In short funds will be used to install a new roof.
All across American Veterans Post are closing as a result of financial burdens. All of these Posts are open for one reason and that is to help veterans and provide support for their local communities. Each time we loose another Veterans Post we diminish our ability to provide support for veterans that they can get no where else. Our Post supplies support to hundreds of veterans every month. Your support in this fundraiser will mean life of death of our Post.
There is no donation to small, and every donation will be a welcome relief in helping us keep our organization alive and focused in helping one of the most important assets our country has: Our Veterans who have served us all.
