Nicola Cawley Murphy (Nicky) was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in March 2015. Since then she has undergone numerous treatments of Radiation & Chemotherapy, a Mastectomy and most recently a Clinical Trial, all of which have proved to be unsuccessful.
Nicky is a Mother to 3 wonderful Children, who love her and miss her when she is away in hospital. Her loving Husband Padraig has had an unfortunate work place accident recently breaking 3 fingers on his right hand leaving him unable to work.
Mostly on a day to day basis there is not much any of us can do to help but there is one burden we can lift, the financial burden... We want to run a fundraiser for Nicky, to help her and her family to beat this cancer because as we all know Cancer Costs!!!
Nicky has fought everyday for the last 4 years for her survival. She is a strong person and is determined to beat this cancer but it is difficult being constantly in pain and exhausted. She has borne more pain than most people can imagine, and she has done so with a strength and courage one can only admire!
Nicky is one of the good ones, kind, thoughtful and beautiful. Her road is long and hard but she faces it everyday with a positive approach :)
So we hope that we can all do something wonderful for Nicky to ease her struggle. So please donate!
