A New Cage for Linus! - TLC Primate
Donation protected
We are a team of four college students at Florida Gulf Coast University enrolled in a Foundations of Civic Engagement class. For this course, we must design and execute a project in collaboration with a local nonprofit organization.
Our team is partnering with the TLC Primate Retreat Center in Southwest Florida. This organization houses, raises, and protects threatened, endangered, and abused primates. They are currently home to over 100 different primates, including spider monkeys and marmosets.
All of the funds raised here will go towards the TLC Primate Retreat Center, specifically towards purchasing a larger and more stable cage for Linus, their young spider monkey. Currently, the cage that Linus lives in is too small for him to comfortably swing and live in, and it is off-balance due to wear and tear in the legs of the cage.
This project is time-restricted.
Thank you!
