A Miracle for our Claire-bear

On Sunday, December 2nd, Claire's parents took her to the hospital in Las Vegas because she had been very sick. That evening she was taken into emergency surgery to relieve pressure on her brain, which was about 4 times higher than normal. She has since been diagnosed with Meningitis (an infection in the brain). It caused serious damage to her brain and she will need significant care and rehabilitation going forward.


Claire is only 2 years old and there is hope that she will be able to fully recover. It will still be a long, hard road and will require a lot of additional care as her brain rewires itself and relearns how to do things.
