A Gift for Antonio

It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you of the passing of my dear nephew Antonio Devon McMillon. He passed away on July 12th as the result of a motorcycle accident in Los Angeles. He was 26 years old. It’s a call no parent wants to receive, however my sister Patricia Ann McMillon is suffering with the devastation of the loss of her only son.
As you can imagine, the family is grieving right now, and the last thing we want is for Patricia to worry about finances. My family has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and prayers, and now we humbly ask for the community’s help with Patricia’s existing and continuing expenses. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards Antonio’s funeral and burial expenses as well as Patricia’s immediate ongoing expenses as she looks to regroup from this tragic loss. My family will contribute of course, but we could certainly use more help if you are able to give. This tragic and heartbreaking loss is a great impact to the family and we want to do all we can to remove as much of the burden from Patricia as we can. We are called to assist, lift each other up and be there in times of need – and we appreciate anything you can give.
Please keep my sister Patricia, and us all, in your prayers as we work our way through this difficult time. Antonio was one of the kindest, purest people on Earth and now he leaves us unexpectedly as one of our angels in Heaven. His smile and energy will be sorely missed; and whether or not you are able to financially support us, we ask that you please continue to pray for strength and healing and that Patricia will cross your minds in the months to come.
