Help Refugees Children In Athens

Thirty refugees children are waiting for their future during the hot summer of Athens. They got away from war, but they do not know when and how their young lifes will restart.

Their wait can become a garden: a symbol of life, a place of creativity, an exercise of hope.

Thanks to your donation it will be possible to buy plants, flowers, pots and colors, to let these children create their garden inside their temporary house.

We are two young women: Valeria, a young agronomist, and  Beatrice, a young teacher, we join Agronomi senza Frontiere (www.agronomisenzafrontiere.it/).
We will work with these children at Neos Kosmos Social House, Athens (Greece) with the collaboration of Caritas Udine www.caritasudine.it

Our work will start on the 1st of july and it will last for two months.

With 5 € you will make us purchase an ornamental plant (We will send you an e-mail with our thanks);

With 10 € you will buy a pot or the material to create it (We will send you an e-mail with a photo of the material that your donation have allowed to buy);

With 20 € we will buy a set of colors (you will received a video of thanks by the children);

100 € are necessary to have all the equipment needed for planting and cultivating plants (you will received a video of thanks and a drawing of the garden made by the children);

2000 € are enough to cover our expenses (flight, food and accomodation). With this donation you will receive a copy of the book "the Arrival" by Shawn Tan, our guide for creating the garden.

Thanks to our project the outdoor spaces of the house will become a beautiful garden, full of nature and games!
 
30 bambini siriani stanno aspettando il futuro durante la calda estate ateniese. Sono scappati dalla guerra, ma non sanno quando e come le loro vite potranno ricominciare.

La loro attesa può trasformarsi in un giardino: simbolo di vita, luogo di creatività, esercizio di speranza.

Attraverso la raccolta fondi sarà possibile acquistare le piante, i vasi, i colori e tutto ciò che occorre per rendere davvero bello un angolo di mondo, grazie alle loro piccole mani.

Il progetto inizierà il 1 luglio e durerà 2 mesi grazie al lavoro di Beatrice, futura maestra, e Valeria, giovane agronoma, entrambe di Agronomi senza Frontiere (http://www.agronomisenzafrontiere.it/)

La struttura si chiama Neos Kosmos Social House,  ospita famiglie siriane ad Atene ed è gestita grazie al lavoro della Caritas di Udine (http://www.caritasudine.it/).

5 € ci permettono di comprare una pianta fiorita (riceverai una mail di ringraziamento);

10 € occorrono per comprare un vaso o il materiale per costruirlo (riceverai una foto con il materiale che hai permesso di acquistare);

con 20 € acquisterai dei colori per decorare il giardino (ti sarà inviato un video di ringraziamento);

100 € sono necessari per acquistare l'attrezzatura per il giardino (terricci, attrezzi, ecc). Riceverai un video di ringraziamento e un disegno del giardino;

2000 € sono sufficienti per coprire le nostre spese vive (non è previsto nessun compenso). Con questa donazione riceverai a casa una copia de "L'approdo" dell'illustratore Shaw Tan, libro che guiderà tutte le attività del progetto.

Ogni donatore riceverà una foto in cui si mostra il materiale che ha permesso di acquistare!
