A Few Years for Hank

Seven years ago, my brother rescued  Hank, the best dog that any fool ever abandoned. He was Michael's dog, and a lot like Michael too. Rambunctious, silly, and loveable. Oh, and dashingly handome. It didn't take long for Hank to steal all of our hearts ( he stole mine in a seconds time).

About a month after he entered our lives, we lost our dog, Joonyer. Joonyer had total kidney failure. The only thing we could do was ease the pain.

Today we've learned that Hank's kidneys are failing too. But this time, they aren't completely shut down yet. This means that Hank has a chance. 

As I write, we're taking Hank to a specialist for treatment now. The vet tells us that this has a strong chance of saving him. The only problem is the price.
