A Different Kind of Fisherman is for young adults and up. It addresses important issues worldwide as well as issues that Catholics have questions about. You won't find any women (or men for that matter) dressed in leotards , find any sexual content outside of reference to Traditional Catholic teaching on the subject, or any compromises on the Catholic faith .
What you will find are things that many parish priests are failing to address today and what many loyal clerics are being punished for speaking about.
The roster has Catholics as well as non-catholics on it. All characters we can identify with in one way or another.

Reading solid religious books is Important! St Augustine, Ven. Fulton J. Sheen, St Therese de Lisieux... The list is long and glorious, but sometimes it's nice to take a break from the greats and spend some downtime learning through the time tested hobby of comic books. "Comic books?" you ask. The answer is YES! Introducing A Different Kind of Fisherman. The FIRST and only comic of it's kind in existence..so far. Others will follow. Imitators will appear. But this is the one that will be the foundation for every one of them.. Be on the cusp of comic book history. ADKF will be the Grand Daddy of them all. It's all in here...mystery, romance, action,controversy, politics, intrigue, betrayal.
What you won't find is immodesty anti christian slams or vulgarity of any kind.
What's more, you don't have to be Catholic to read this...but it helps .
All the art is done traditionally , drawn and colored by hand. No digital work besides inserting text and editing.

Faith isn't about wearing a cross around your neck and calling it a day. It's about living and breathing what you believe. As a Traditional Catholic I stand by this.
But this comic isn't just about Catholicism.
It's about everything, everywhere, that everyone is going through .
It applies to Catholics, atheists, republicans and democrats, EVERYONE!
It's the world as we know it NOW!
We have only 9 copies of Issue 1 left. When they're gone we'll contract with the same local printer to print a second run if we haven't raised enough here to get our own printer. The second run will have MOST of the same content and it's format will be slightly different ...we have to lower the page numbers to stay within a budget to pay this printer. When we finally are able to purchase a tabloid printer through this campaign, we'll have the option of upping the page number because it'll cost LESS to print per page.
SO anyone who has purchased one of the ORIGINAL first runs of Issue 1 will truly have a unique collectible.
For anyone who helps out, no matter the size of the donation, your name will be listed as a donor in the "Readers Comments" section in Issue 3.
Most comics have done away with the comments section in the back for readers.
We chose to keep that available for anyone who wants send in thoughts or questions because what our readers think, matters to us.
