A decent house for this family

Many families from Nepal had an armonic and happy life in the hills. They lived peacefully among the animals in their farms and the good, hardworking people from the whole comunity in the village of Dharke, the local area... Until the earthquake hit them in 2015. The terrible catastrophe knocked down their houses and took many lives away. A few survivors saw themselves forced to thrive through the misery of the situation, but this people don't have any economic resources to build a house made of bricks with a steady foundation, therefore they are now living under rocky unstable cottages made with muddy walls and a few metalic sheets on the top that covers them from the rain.

There is also a big water problem in the area. More than twelve families hardly get water from the one wellspring located in a dangerous and barely unreachable source in the wild nature, far away from the their shelters.

In spite of their situation, they keep fighting to live happily.

Krishna Poudel is the father and householder of one of the most known families there. He and his son Gagan are working hand to hand in order to bring better times to the comunity, but they are also very poor and can't do much about it.

I did a two months period of volunteering with this family and I can say I am thankful for how much care and love they gave me while I stayed intheir home. I found real friendship there and I can just be thankful. So that's the reason why this is an important cause for me!

I want to help Krishna and the Dharke comunity to build decent houses and fix their water problem with this fund raising.
