My employee, "Bambi" (nickname being used to protect the privacy of her daughter) found out in the fall that her only daughter has a rare form of bone cancer, Osteosarcoma. What should have been a happy senior year in high school has become every parent's worst nightmare.
This employee of mine is one of the hardest workers, she is an in home caregiver for the senior and disabled people in our community. She continues to work while she deals with weekly chemo treatments, future surgery, and more chemo treatments to last approximatley one year for her daughter.
Why must it pour when it's already raining? Both vehicles are in the shop and need about $8000.00 worth of repairs, to say the least they are not reliable to make the 140 mile trek 3-4 times a week. She also uses her car to make it to all of her client's homes to take care of their needs. She is in desparate need of a newer car.
I am working with local car dealers and a mechanic to help find and fund a reliable car for her. Won't you please consider helping?
