In March 2016, at only 31 years of age, Zander was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of stomach cancer called Linitus Plastica. Linitus Plastica makes up only 10% of the worlds stomach cancers, so medical research and treatment around it is very limited. Diagnosis occurs once the cancer is quite advanced, with survival rates for Linitus Plastica documented at only 3-10% survival over 5 years.
Zander has a huge fight on his hands. He will need all of us to provide some support, as now he cannot work while he undergoes treatment.
Through your financial contributions, it will allow him to care for his daughter while knowing the day to day financial stressors will be taken care of, and assist him to access the latest medical treatments.
Zander's passions throughout his life, was cars. From go- karting as a child, to organised drifting competitions and taking out the 2009 Drift Supercup at Mallala in South Australian .
He gave this up when the love of his life was born, his daughter Talika Rose, now 7.
Zander is a dedicated single father to his beautiful daughter and will do anything to make her future happy and secure.
Zander has always been a young man to give you the "shirt off his back", he has always offered support and help to those in need, now it is our turn to help and support him.
Now is the time!
Help us help Zander, no matter how small or large, your contribution will help Zander in his fight against cancer!
