We recognize the need to support our Veterans. We have put this event together to contibute our part, to let them know we have not forgotten and are grateful for our freedoms.
No Veteran should ever have to continue the battle coming home. While we have Veterans from every state, we here in New Mexico would like to take a stand in knowing we can help.
New Mexico alone has over 8,000 homeless people who have sought services last year. We estimate more than 800 homeless Veterans well again seek shelter this year in New Mexico.
Can you imagine going out of your comfort zone and being surrounded by foreign land? Can you imagine them coming home feeling different, lost and alone?
While only one day of the year is dedicated solely to honoring our veterans, Americans must never forget the sacrifices that many of our fellow countrymen have made to defend our country and protect our freedoms.”
Homeless Veterans No Mas no veteran should ever have to sleep in the streets.
Join our cause May 20th in Jemez Springs New Mexico. We come together for the greatest cause of all.
The picture is of the www.fisherhouse.org it will be the first here in New Mexico. We are trying to help with the development for our veterans future. This is not funded by the government. Veterans need a place to stay while away from home with their families etc. This will provide a place to stay while away from home seeking medical attention. Remember what happens to the veteran happens to the family. This eases the burden of expense while having a place to stay when away from home. Here in New Mexico we have the VA, many travel back and forth. Please keep the vision as we want to accomadate them with as much as possible.
We will also get involved with more, much more for our veterans. If you have questions, feel free to contact any of us. The need to bring awareness about it all is needed. We must never forget the many sacrifices. Veterans, this ones for you.
