Women for Kansas is a statewide organization of non-partisan, moderate women whose mission is to recruit, motivate, and educate women to actively participate in the process of electing moderates to public office. Our singular goal for 2016 is to return the legislature to moderation; Brownback didn’t get Kansas in this mess by himself.
If we keep the 64 moderate legislators we presently have and change just 10 of the 101 ultra conservatives across the state to moderates, we’ll be back on the road to sanity. But as you know, anything involving politics takes money. You can help support our efforts with any amount. Then— and put this on your calendar now: vote in the Republican primary on August 2nd. In Kansas, the Republican primary is critical because that’s when the legislature is elected.
