Jeff Wolfenbarger House Fire Fund

Donation protected
On Thursday, July 16, at about 8:30 – 9:00 pm, the home of Jeff, Kim and Isabel (age 15) Wolfenbarger burned – the house is in ruins and most of their possessions are gone.  They had just moved into this brand new home a few weeks ago and were enjoying being in a brand new home.  Kim had just about completed putting the finishing touches on each room – the décor, furniture placement, etc. – to make the house truly theirs.   Jeff had helped the landlord as he was building a deck on the back of the house.

The most important thing is that no one was home when the fire broke out – no one was hurt.  But now this family has to start from scratch to not only furnish a home but to build memories again as many precious and cherished items are gone forever.  They need everything – even a house to live in.  Hopefully they can find another home to rent and go on with their lives here in the Ocean View/Bethany Beach/Selbyville Delaware area.

Donations will be used to purchase not just furniture but all the other things we take for granted such as kitchen items, computers, TVs, bedding, towels, phone chargers, and the list goes on.  Unfortunately, the renters’ insurance was not in place yet – they were working on getting it transferred never dreaming they would actually need it.  So, they will be starting from scratch.  Thank you to all who help and most of all we ask for your prayers for Jeff, Kim and Isabel.
