Jeff Wolfenbarger House Fire Fund
The most important thing is that no one was home when the fire broke out – no one was hurt. But now this family has to start from scratch to not only furnish a home but to build memories again as many precious and cherished items are gone forever. They need everything – even a house to live in. Hopefully they can find another home to rent and go on with their lives here in the Ocean View/Bethany Beach/Selbyville Delaware area.
Donations will be used to purchase not just furniture but all the other things we take for granted such as kitchen items, computers, TVs, bedding, towels, phone chargers, and the list goes on. Unfortunately, the renters’ insurance was not in place yet – they were working on getting it transferred never dreaming they would actually need it. So, they will be starting from scratch. Thank you to all who help and most of all we ask for your prayers for Jeff, Kim and Isabel.
Many of you know about the fire that destroyed the home of my son and his family - Jeff, Kim and Isabel Wolfenbarger. Many of you have donated to the gofundme site and many of you have left donations at my real estate office and many of you have mailed donations - I know that I overwhelmed and humbled by the response. But even more than that, Jeff and Kim and Isabel are beyond humbled and grateful doesn't even go far enough to describe their reactions to this wonderful outpouring of donations and love and support and prayer!!! The latest update is that everything they own was destroyed in the fire - two companies have come to look to see if they can salvage and remediate anything and the answer was no. So, these three are going to have to rebuild everything and replace everything they owned. AND all of you who have donated are helping them do this. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!
I am Jeff's aunt. I started this campaign the day after the fire.--my way of helping. I live in Idaho, so I am on the other side of the country from Jeff. I have spoken with my sister, Dayna, and asked her to post an update as soon as possible. I do know Jeff has been overwhelmed with starting the process of getting his life back again. He has been going through the house trying to salvage a few things, but there is very little. We are all so thankful to each and every one of you who has donated. Please keep this family in your prayers.
