Electrical Power to Wenas Mammoth Dig Site

Tax deductible

The National Science Foundation research indicates that there is a need to improve science, mathematics and critical thinking skills in K-12 students, to better prepare them for secondary education, a career and life.  According to WA State OSPI, only 46.7% of 8th grade students in the ESD105 South Central WA region demonstrated proficiency in the 2016 WA State Science Exam.  The Wenas Mammoth Foundations goal is to utilize the Wenas Creek Dig Site to teach the methods of paleontology, archaeology and geology, and give youth the opportunity to developed a curiosity about local earth science.  To open up additional learning opportunities that support STEM education, we need to begin by getting electrical power to the dig site facilities.   We believe in transparency, are are listed as a non-profit 501(c)3  on www.GuideStar.org.  More information is also available at http://www.WenasMammoth.com
