OUR MOM-EMPOWERMENT CONCEPT AND MISSION

WE ARE SUPERMOMS FOUNDATION is a nonprofit organization comprised of moms who are passionate about celebrating motherhood and giving back to their fellow moms in the community. Our MOM-empowerment concept drives our mission to promote recognition of moms from all over the world, who have an inspiring story. We feature these moms on our website and social media, highlighting their stories of overcoming challenges and their perseverance in their motherhood journeys. These are the women with immeasurable strength, the real-life superheroes that we like to call, "SuperMoms." Our goal is to promote greater appreciation for moms, and to also empower and encourage moms, as being a mom is the toughest job in the world, yet we manage to own this role successfully.
One of the ways we give back to our community of moms is hosting events to raise money to donate to a great cause, specifically organizations that directly support moms and children. We will be hosting various types of events each year. Each event will benefit a different cause and we will be donating a portion of the proceeds to these beneficiaries.
This month, we met with the Director of the Women & Children's Shelter in Charlotte, NC to determine the immediate needs of the women and children currently residing in the shelter. The shelter has exceeded it's capacity at 400 people. They recently had a fire which destroyed a room that housed nearly 50 women and children. They are in need of items including twin beds, twin sheets, pillow cases, blankets, towels, diapers and baby wipes. Our goal is to raise enough money to provide at least 100 sets of these critical items needed.
