Hello!
We are the University of Warwick Big Band, a friendly, unauditioned band who play various types of music, including swing, jazz, latin, funk and blues.
As frequent performers at international jazz festivals, the Warwick Arts Centre and countless university balls, we strive for professional music quality while maintaining a friendly and warm atmosphere. This ethos has seen us win multiple awards at the UK National Concert Band Festival, International Jazz Festivals, and also host sell out events in the local area.

Currently, we are looking towards recording a new album featuring a varied selection of our repertoire as chosen by the band.
In the past, the band has released two successful albums, and has traditonally done so at time in which it has been felt that the current standard of the band is particularly high.
This year has been a phenomenal year for the band so far, with the band achieving a Platinum award in the NCBF Nationals for the first time in 10 years, visting London, Nottingham (and in the summer, Brussels!) for wildly successful sell out tours, and hosting exciting new events such as Hornography in Leamington Spa's
Zephyr Lounge, and our brand new live karaoke event!
What better way to celebrate this than produce the first Warwick Big Band album since 2008 as a way of laying down a commerative marker?

Your donation will be greatly appriciated and will be used to pay for the hire of recording equipment, and the services of a professional recording engineer.
In addition, anyone who donates will be given a FREE copy of the album online when it is released!
