Tess Gerritsen  BOSTON, MA
RAFFLE CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT EST, AFTER THE JULY 23 EPISODE OF RIZZOLI & ISLES ON TNT. WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED ON JULY 24, 2013

Thank you all for your generosity and willingness to support a cause that is incredibly personal to me "“ my War on Alzheimer's. You helped raise more than $25,000 to support Alzheimer's research at The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI)
, which has long been at the cutting edge of biomedical research. And we trust it will continue to be, thanks to funding like this.

We not only reached our goal: we exceeded it. Adding my matching donation of $25,000 to your efforts, we've provided a total of more than $50,000 in new funding to this worthy organization.

My father died of Alzheimer's, and I know many of you have also been touched by this tragic disease. But scientists "“ like those at TSRI "“ are thankfully bringing us closer to a cure every day.

As you well know, two lucky donors will now get to name a character in my next book. (And yes, he or she could turn out to be a villain!) Three runners-up will also receive special "Rizzoli & Isles" prize packages. We are randomly selecting winners, who will hear from us soon!

If someone you love has suffered from Alzheimer's, please continue to share your stories on my website's
tribute page. And for those of you who didn't donate during the raffle campaign "“ it's not too late! Our funding page will remain live, so you can still support the War on Alzheimer's.
