Funding Arts Programs for All Ages

I have 2 challenges for you today... 
1st imagine...
     * A sports team without a logo...
     * A movie without music...
     * A house without a blue print...
     * A car without a design...
     * A phone without an app...
     * A book without pictures...

This would be pretty bleak, right?  A world without art.

Now, imagine a community where the arts are growing and they are vibrant and they people together, resulting in an innovative, economic and beautiful world.

2nd...Imagine if 120 people were each able to donate $100 each that would raise $12,000 for the West Valley Arts Council to offer high quality engaging art programs that connect and inspire our youth and adults...can you see what we are seeing?  Of course, any amount will be appreciated and put to good use in creating this vibrant and connected world!  And if we raise more, then more can be done!

The West Valley Arts Council has been central to creating what is recognized as a “high quality of life” for West Valley residents, of all ages.  They do much of this through the support of grants and donors such as yourself.  If you decide to donate today, you will help them continue to provide the following programming:

* Arts Advantage - giving over 4,000 4th graders their first live performing arts experiences

* Arts Education Partnerships - providing training, support and advocacy to teachers and administrators committed to enriching students’ lives through arts education

* Arts HQ Gallery – a place for rotating exhibits and performances that serves as the official headquarters for arts and cultural information for our region’s residents and visitors.

* The Goodyear Lakeside MusicFest – a free family friendly music festival that celebrates all varieties of music.

* Gallery 37 - A school-to-work apprenticeship program for West Valley teens with a passion for art, earning college credit while being mentored by a professional artist and creating a piece of public art.

* And much more!

As a music teacher who was once trained by WVAC...

As a former employee who saw students’ lives and lives of people with dementia and Alzheimer impacted for the better...

As a resident of the West Valley who enjoys attending free concerts and seeing beautiful and inspiring art...

And as an individual who imagines a world with and without the arts, and chooses one with the arts...

I challenge and encourage you to consider donating today.  Again, if 120 people committed $100, together we could give the West Valley Arts Council $12,000 to continue growing a vibrant and connected community.
