WSUCon Fundraiser!!!
Hello, we are the Linux Users' Group ( <-- this is a link) at Washington State University (WSU) in Pullman Washington. Our goal is to promote the visibility of Linux, and other Free and Open Source software... also using technology to have fun!!
We have been hosting WSUCon ( <-- this is a link) for 15 years, to provide a badass study break for students to gather, play games, socialize, and nerd out. With the help of organizers, sponsors, & other student clubs this has been made a possibility.
The LUG is a non-profit student organization, run by students to benefit the students and community. This fundraiser is to help raise funds to pay for the costs of putting on this COMPLETELY FREE TO ATTEND event and keep it that way, in the spirit of Open Source software and collaboration.
As a simple "thank-you" for supporting the LUG & WSUCon, we would like to share our gratitude by giving you a pin and/or a shirt.
HOW THIS WORKS: (no longer valid - see update)
0. With our limited budget, we've already purchased pins and an assortment of shirts to have available (in-stock) at WSUCon for you!
1. (in stock) After donating some amount greater than or equal to a specific level, you can come by the registration desk, we verify your name & donation, and you will be presented with gifts in thanks of your sponsorship.
2. (backordered) Have no fear, once we've run out of immediately available swag/gifts to share our appreciation AT the con, we have prepared to facilitate ordering more and having it available for you to pick up at WSU, or shipped to you if you live out of town!
note: if you cannot attend WSUCon or stop by our office to pick up your shirt, we will facilitate mailing it to you. IF you live outside of the U.S.A. please include an additional $5 for shipping.
