WCHS Courthouse Repair

The non-profit Whatcom County Historical Society (WCHS) recently completed the restoration / renovation of the County Territorial Courthouse (aka the TG Richards building) in Bellingham. Unfortunately during the recent cold snap a pump in the basement area failed, and the basement was flooded with over one foot of water. Although insurance will cover most of the physical structure repair, the books and journals we sell for fundraising were mostly destroyed. We need to order new copies of these publications, as well as cover deductibles and expenses not covered from insurance.
