Victoria Grenier is from Breckenridge, MN and only 22 years young. She has recently been hit with a life changing event and needs some love and prayers to help her recover.
On Monday, May 1st Victoria was admitted to the hospital with some serious pains. The next couple of days revealed that the pain was being caused due to a tumor in her stomach. A biopsy was done and testing came back positive for cancer.
The doctors planned to do an almost immediate surgery to remove the tumor. At first it was all positive and things were going as planned, and the road to recovery could begin. However, the next few days it was discovered that it had due to some adverse events it actually turned for the worse.
It was determined that the initial surgery, her wounds had had become infected and would require an immediate surgery to remedy the infection. The surgery was to flush and clean the wounds. Once again it was thought to have gone very well and there would be no complications.
Victoria was eventually moved back to her hospital room for the recovery to once again begin. But once again life has thrown her another challenge. Victoria has not woken up from anesthesia. A breathing tube remains in to help her. She is responding as if she were in a coma.
The team of doctors are continuing to work on her case and are doing all they can to get her better. Hoping that this is her body keeping her asleep to fight the pain and infection.
